However in due course we will be drawn into the whirlpool slowly but surely. Our own strategic interests matters at all times. Surprisingly may be pro chinese at some stage! Let's evaluate---
Toynbee's comments on history in this context: Every country tries to push its neighbours around when it can. There will always be a dominant country. And that dominant country will always fall. No country remains dominant forever. They get bigger and bigger. They take over more and more. Then, they go too far. And then they fall and another country takes the dominant position. that's what WWI and WWII were all about. Germany and England fighting for the dominant position. And you know how many people died? Sixty million. Unbelievable.

"Each time there's a fight for the top position, in history, the death toll goes up. And when war between China and America breaks out...
The trouble is, if you read history you see that these transitions aren't easy. There is usually a war. The dominant power doesn't give up without a fight.

Now the main issue is what India’s strategy is or should be. We should focus on this. Ideally we should be on the side of eventual winner. In that sense Pakistan is probably is just doing that !
mohan iyermohan iyernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7042384025854887407.post-4215235381488490902011-10-02T20:58:48.677-07:002011-10-02T20:58:48.677-07:00a balanced, nicely pitched & invigorating pice...a balanced, nicely pitched & invigorating pice, well said atul bhardwaj
regads
bhasker guptabghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00353439169318410091noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7042384025854887407.post-1817666022912123152011-09-30T03:28:49.514-07:002011-09-30T03:28:49.514-07:00Good One, Atul!Good One, Atul!Anantha Krishnan Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04603973002868831089noreply@blogger.com
